THE GREAT LAKES MARITIME CENTER at Vantage Point continues to be a favorite spot for area residents and visitors alike.  They spend time watching freighters, enjoying a cup of coffee, or just relaxing without a care in the world.  Through April of 2018, we've had 15,284 visitors at the Center. In 2017, we had 144,489 visitors.

BELL OF RECOGNITION:  Many have asked how they can contribute to the Great Lakes Maritime Center (51 Water Street) for themselves, in memory of someone, or as a gift to someone still enjoying the Center. We are pleased to bring to your attention the Bell of Recognition now hanging in the Maritime Center. Near it is a plaque with contributors; names. Donations are used for artifacts, books, and other treasures enjoyed at the Center. If you would like to make a contribution to the Bell of Recognition, talk to a volunteer
