Highlander Sea left Port Huron Sept. 11, 2011, for Gloucester, Massachusetts.  The ship was purchased in 2002 by Acheson Ventures, L.L.C.  However, due to cost restraints, she had not sailed since 2009.  Her future is unknown. 

This 154 foot gaff-rigged topsail schooner was designed by W. Starling Burgess and built in 1924 in Essex, Massachusetts.
