Highlander Sea was purchased in 2002 by Acheson Ventures, LLC, as Port Huron's flagship ambassador.

This 154 foot gaff-rigged topsail schooner was designed by W. Starling Burgess and built in 1924 in Essex, Massachusetts. Originally christened Pilot, she served 47 years as a Boston Harbor pilot ship.

Highlander Sea, usually located at the Seaway Terminal (Bean Dock), is now in her winter berth at Port Huron Yacht Club.  Highlander Sea merchandise is available by calling the ship's office at 810-966-3488 during regular business hours. The Seaway Terminal is at 2336 Military Street, just south of the end of I-69 coming into Port Huron.
