SUNDAYS: Each Sunday, the Great Lakes Maritime Center, 51 Water Street, will show free maritime-related movies at 1:30 p.m. for the public. For more movie information, call the Center at 810-985-4817.

TUESDAYS & SATURDAYS: The 11th Annual Vantage Point Farmer's Market is held from 8 to 2 each Tuesday and Saturday thru October 28 outside the Great Lakes Maritime Center, 51 Water Street.

NOVEMBER 18 (Saturday): A model boat building class - for kids 12 and younger - will be held from noon to 4 in the Maritime Center, 51 Water Street. It is sponsored by the Great Lakes Nautical Society. Each child must be accompanied by an adult. Three models are available at $6 each. NOVEMBER 23 (Thursday): The Great Lakes Maritime Center, 51 Water Street, will be closed November 23, for the Thanksgiving holiday.
