Where is Vantage Point?

The Great Lakes Maritime Center (GLMC) offers a variety of opportunities to learn about the history and current events of the Great Lakes. A variety of video formats, displays, and speaker programs present a wide variety of information.

On site you will find the World Headquarters of BoatNerd.com. The most widely used website for Great Lakes maritime information. A live underwater camera feed lets you view activity under the surface of the St. Clair River; and a live display of ship movements can be viewed.

The GLMC is located at the junction of the Black River and St. Clair River. Watch the ships gracefully pass by less than a quarter mile away from the sun-soaked deck or warm and dry viewing room.

Bring your fishing gear and try your luck in what some consider one of the best fishingspots around (but you didn´t hear it here!). Or maybe get a couple of ice cream cones and take your sweetie for a walk on a cool summer night...
